Assumptions

The psychiatrist uses an EMR system and he is already logged on this system.
The hospital’s ADT system is interfaced with the hospital’s EMR system. So, when a patient is created/updated in the hospital’s ADT system, the patient index is automatically updated in the hospital’s EMR system.
The psychiatrist uses a Digital Dictation system, which is interfaced with the hospital’s EMR system.

Voice dictation
When the consultation with patient is complete, the psychiatrist initiates, by the hospital’s EMR system, a voice dictates for his consultation report (for the involved patient).	The POS EMR system creates a voice dictation reference and sends a request to the POS Digital Dictation system.
	The Digital Dictation system records the voice dictation for the consultation report and generates a first version of digital document.
