Definition
An observable finding or state that persists over time and tends to require intervention or management and is, therefore, distinguished from an observation made at a point in time.
Conditions can "morph" over time, changing in nature or acuity, splitting or merging. Conditions can be used linked to other clinical activities in a "drill down" way to examine the alteration of interventions as conditions change.
