These services are used to track and monitor the level of
quality of the information maintained in an EHRi. As data in an
EHRi is expected to be used for research, surveillance and clinical
decision making, the ability to track levels of quality of the
information maintained in the EHR is a required feature. These
services can be used to support people-driven manual data quality
assessment processes or in the future to even completely automate
the assessment of data quality indicators. For example, such
indicators can be driven from the monitoring of results of business
logic algorithms being applied.
